I offer quality private voice lessons and vocal coaching, at reasonable rates, in a safe and fun environment. For most people, singing lessons are a very personal experience. Therefore, finding the right Goodyear Arizona teacher and environment for vocal Instruction is crucial to your success. Please keep in mind that I have been where you are at some point in my life. I have had to overcome shyness, stagefright and singing in front of people. I teach people of all ages and levels, including beginners (people who have never sung before), intermediate and advanced singers. I currently have four locations in the Valley: in 1518 N. Central Drive in Chandler, AZ 85224 in Phoenix at 6317 W. Hughes Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85043 and in North Phoenix at 23027 N. 31st Drive, 85027. In addition, for those who wish to have the convenience of personalized vocal lessons in their own home, I offer in-home lessons anywhere in the valley. My studios are well-equipped with professional pro-audio equipment and digital pianos making the lessons more highly productive. As a courtesy to my students, all lessons are recorded on a CD for you to take home and practice with. Not only have I been singing professionally in the Valley for 26 years, I have 16 years of voice training with various private instructors in a variety of vocal styles ranging from opera, Broadway, pop, jazz, rock, metal a nd a vocal training technique based on speech. I have had lessons with Dave Stroud, Greg Enriquez, Shelly Franklin Rose, and Vanessa Purdy. In addition, I have attended SLS Master Classes and SLS Teacher Training classes.
My lessons plans are personally tailored to meet the needs of my students. Generally, you decide what goals and objectives you wish to acheive from the vocal training sessions. The first step is to get you into practicing vocal exercise routines. Typically, we then focus on correcting any bad habits or techniques and begin the process of strengthening the weak areas of your voice. When you are ready, you move on to more advanced training, and with dedication and hard work from both the student and the teacher, we will build the voice of your dreams.
How much practice you require depends entirely on the student. Most students can typically practice 15 minutes to a half-hour per day. Some voices have been damaged through years of abuse, incorrect vocal instruction or bad vocal habits. These voices may require some rehabilitation or repair.
As a result of proper vocal training, I have been singing professionally for 26 years without damage to my voice. I feel that I sing better now than I ever have. I look forward to meeting all singers who want to improve their voice, and I invite you to come and take a free tour of any of my studios and receive a free evaluation.
